The Big Easy Rollergirls were recently very privileged to participate in the New Orleans “Over the Edge” event, held by Special Olympics Louisiana, INC. on Friday, October 21, 2011. Tangles and Bea sKiddo bravely repelled down Benson Tower, immediately followed by a helicopter ride to get some special ops training from JP SWAT! Usually, we would have been begging for your donations prior to the event, giving our skaters-turned-acrobats and off-track-butt-kickers more than enough reason NOT to back out and leave you “hanging,” but because of the timing, we are asking for donations now – after the fact.

The hardest part was leaning back, and trust that everything would be just fine! So, hopefully we can lean back, and ask for your help as the Big Easy Rollergirls help Special Olympics Louisiana raise money for their own great adventures to come!
