Do you have what it takes to be a Big Easy Rollergirl? We’re recruiting for the 2013 season!

Open Saturday practices will be held for anyone interested in playing or officiating roller derby. This Saturday will be at Audubon Park shelter #10, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Next Saturday, 10/6, will be at the City Park footbridge at the same time. Wear workout clothes and bring water! Q&A session to follow.

Clinics to help prepare you for tryouts will be held at Skate Country WestBank on Monday, October 1, and Thursday, October, 4, at 6pm for only $10 per day. These will teach you the basic skills needed to play roller derby.

Try outs will be Monday, October 8, at 6pm at Skate Country West Bank for only $5. Come out and show us what you got; who knows, you might just be the next Big Easy Rollergirl!
