T-minus 2 ½ days until the annual San Fermin en Nueva Orleans! As usual, BERG will be among the lovely roller bulls whacking runners with fat plastic bats at 8 o’clock in the morning. No clue what we’re talking about? Click here!

Leading up to Saturday morning’s Encierro, BERG will put on a short expo bout Friday night at The Sugar Mill as part of El Txupinazo. Skates roll at 7:15.

What we’re most excited about, though, is our double screening of roller derby documentary “Derby, Baby!” at The Country Club!

Showing number one starts at 11 a.m. The Country Club will have a delightful brunch/lunch menu with $10 bottomless mimosas. Watch at the bar for free; hang out at the pool for $15. BERG will have a merchandise table complete with a donation box.

The second showing is at 8 p.m., projected poolside! Access is reduced to $8 for the film. Food will be available until 12:30 a.m. and the BERG table will reopen.
