Who we are
The Big Easy Roller Derby (BERD) are New Orleans’ original all-inclusive, flat track roller derby league. BERD is skater-owned and operated and is a proud founding member league of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
Our mission is to encourage and empower people of all genders and is comprised of a diverse group of over 60 volunteers We work year-round to provide rigorous training, competitive play, high-quality events and ongoing community service. If you would like to support us as we continue to grow, we would love to talk to you.
