How did you come up with your name and number?
My name comes from the fact that I like the finer things in life and my number is my daughter’s birthday.
When did you start playing roller derby/get involved with roller derby? How did you get involved?
I started in 2018 with the Morgantown Roller Vixens. A friend wanted to try it out and invited me to join. After one practice she decided it wasn’t for her but I was hooked so I kept going.
Do you have any short term or long term Derby Goals?
I’d like to stay playing derby long enough to be able to skate on a team with my daughter Little Star
What position on the track do you play/prefer?
Jammer.
What do you like to do after a game?
Shower and sleep
Do you have any specific pre-bout rituals or prepping you do?
Pasta and a side of mild panic

What does your life look like outside of roller derby?
I am a neuroscientist and professor at Tulane.
What is some advice you’d give to someone who may be interested in joining roller derby?
Start doing your squats now and also that you’ve got this!
