How did you come up with your name and number?
I didn’t want a derby name, really. But, was convinced since it wasn’t that different. Now I have two names that people spell wrong.
When did you start playing roller derby/get involved with roller derby? How did you get involved?
Blind, unfounded, confidence + a documentary about Rose City on Netflix + missing team sports = me investing too much in gear and signing up for a clinic with Boston Roller Derby in 2013.
What kind of skates do you skate on?
Antiks! They are also tattooed on my leg.
What position on the track do you play/prefer?
Everything except blocking makes me grumpy.I will whine LOUDLY if I get asked to jam. Let me block all day.
What do you like to do after a game?
I like to forget to stretch, walk my dogs, shower, and then there is a 50/50 chance I’ll end up in bed or at the after party.
Favorite derby memory?
My first travel game to Chattanooga.
What is some advice you’d give to someone who may be interested in joining roller derby?
Just do it. Adults with rad hobbies are the best kind of adults.

What does your life look like outside of roller derby?
Teaching, Legos, dogs, and glitter grails.
