How did you come up with your name and number?
I saw a derby player with Kitty in her name when I lived in Michigan and I decided I wanted that to be part of mine, so I thought of a silly pun for a word that rhymes with Kitty. 37 is a number I constantly see but also a Clerk’s reference.
When did you start playing roller derby/get involved with roller derby? How did you get involved?
I started in 2021. I had some friends that played, and I always thought the games were fun, so when I moved to New Orleans I decided it was time!
Do you have any short term or long term derby goals??
This year I want to start jamming more often.
What does your life look like outside of roller derby?
I’m a bartender. I’m a dog and cat mom. I try to travel often. I also love camping and festivals.
What do you like to do after a game?
Hang out with all my derby friends!
What is some advice you’d give to someone who may be interested in joining roller derby?
Come skate with us! It’s so fun and even if you don’t know how to skate at all there’s a place for you to learn and improve.
