Interested in being part of our league but don’t know where to start? We are here to teach you all of the skating fundamentals you need to become a roller derby rockstar. This is for both future derby players and future refs and skating officials! Our intake is open to skaters of all genders to help you on your derby journey, in whatever involvement that may be.

You need no prior skating experience to participate! If you have skating experience, our fresh meat intake program is still a great fit for you, because it will teach you derby-specific skating skills and help to build your strength and endurance.

The Spring Fresh Meat Intake will run from May 28-June 4 and include a two day skate clinic and one orientation day. All sessions will be held at Skate Country Westbank from 6-8:30 P.M.

Loaner gear will be available, with skates available to rent from Skate Country. We ask that you please bring your own mouthguard and water.
