We had the pleasure of spending Saturday afternoon at the Freret Market. What a treat! We were surrounded by an assortment of local artists and food vendors. We’re talkin’ gumbo, kettle corn popcorn, gyro wraps, crepes, and many other sweet and salty treats! I was delighted to see some friends from my hometown representing their restaurant, too! The musical sounds of One Love Brass Band filled our ears most of the day, and the puppies up for adoption from Zeus’ Rescues filled our hearts with warmth. I mean, come on! How could you resist kisses and cuddles from some of the most adorable doggies, like ever?? It was so much fun to meet and chat with a ton of locals who flooded the scene. I think we even snagged a few new derby fans. No doubt that we left with full tummies and full hearts. What a great way to spend our late morning/afternoon!
