New Orleans Project Derby is back in a big way with, this time featuring two days of derby brilliance and coaching from TXRG alum, the one and only SlaughterMelon!

Sat June 17 9-12pm – CO-ED open to ALL skill levels

• Nailing the basics
• Footwork
• Skating with both feet
• Form
• Transitions
• What to do with feedback

Sun June 18 9-12pm – CO-ED, full-contact scrimmage-eligible skaters through advanced only (must be able to scrimmage and both GET hit and RECEIVE hard hits)

• Fundamentals of bracing
  
• Playing smart O to D and back again.
  
• Basic sweeps
  
• Communication – simple vocabulary
  
• The mental athlete
  
• Bench etiquette
  
• What to do with feedback
